Shultz Enterprises, LLC was established in April 2009 to create an investment vehicle for high net-worth individuals interested in investing in energy enterprises in Appalachian Kentucky. Shultz Enterprises strives to combine modern means of finance and energy expertise to create opportunities for small investors to invest in both alternative and traditional energy enterprises. Founded in 2009 by three high net-worth entrepreneurs with a variety of business and investment experiences, Shultz Enterprises has been initially capitalized with approximately $250,000.00.
The goal of the company is to leverage these funds to attract additional capital from within the region and apply that to specific energy projects developed by local energy entrepreneurs. Shultz Enterprises seeks to create a balanced portfolio of both short and long term energy investments. It believes it can utilize technical expertise on the part of carefully selected local engineers to cherry pick lucrative short term energy projects in traditional fossil fuel development and leverage this success to obtain financing for longer term projects in alternative energy development.
